Pouch Slings. What Are Pouch Sling Baby Carriers
Pouch slings
Sometimes called “tube”, “pocket” or “ringless” slings, these are generally formed by a wide piece of fabric sewn into a tubular shape. Simple, or fitted pouches do not have rings or other hardware. Adjustable pouches may adjust with a wide variety of methods, including zippers, snaps, buckles, clips, rings (these are usually considered hybrids), drawstrings or velcro. Most pouches have a curve sewn in to shape the cloth to the parent’s body and hold the baby more securely than a simple straight tube. The wearer slips the pouch over the head and one shoulder, sash-style, creating a pocket or seat to hold baby in. The learning curve is short; most people find that they can learn to use the pouch quickly.

Hotslings are great pouches. Their fabrics are so cute and comfortable, and they last through wash after wash…very important for a baby product! I have a pouch that I received when my son was my daughter’s age - over two years ago - and it’s as pretty and comfortable as it was when I wore him in it as an infant. In fact, it’s supportive enough that I can still wear him for short periods in it even…

I love these slings. They are cute and easy to learn how to use. I love the many colors and patterns that they come in and don’t feel odd wearing one in public…they could even be considered an accessory! My baby likes to sit up and be close to me as I multi-task and I like to be able to cuddle her as I do my stuff around the…

This is by far my favorite baby product. I have 2 hotslings, one I use at home, one I keep in my car. I love how versatile it is, it is perfect for a newborn, especially a preemie like my baby was, but as baby grows older, you can carry baby on the hip or on the tummy. I also use it as a blanket when we go to the doctor… I just love this product. I have a stretchy one and a reversible, designer one, and, although I love the designer print, I tend to have a preference for the stretchy…

Hotslings Pouches are wonderful products. They are the easiest type of baby carrier to use because there are no adjustments that need to be made once you get the correct size. Once you have the proper fit, you can get a ton of work done because you have 2 hands to do work instead of juggling baby with one hand and trying to do the work with the other hand. It is also fabulous to have a Hotslings with 2 children because I can wear the baby in the Hotslings Pouch while playing with my older child therefore it reduces sibling rivalry because the older child isn’t being…

Hotslings pouches are beautiful, simple, and surprisingly comfortable. They work from birth through toddlerhood, too, unlike the ugly and more expensive frontpacks they often compete with. Don’t let the simplicity of design fool you into thinking it doesn’t work, or that something with clips and straps would be better … Hotslings pouches are quite comfortable and utilitarian. They fold down small enough to easily stash in a diaper bag, and they work for carrying a baby on your front, hip, or (with a baby with head and torso control) back. I remember…
